What is Portkey?
Portkey connects multiple model providers through a universal API, adding fallbacks, load balancing, caching, prompt templates and logs. It offers a hosted platform, an open-source gateway and enterprise private deployments. Hosted logs may contain request content. Listed log retention is three days on Free and 30 days on Production, with different metrics retention. Review redaction, storage and upstream policies; private deployment depends on plan. Not independently audited.
