What is Qwen Code?
Qwen’s open-source coding agent runs through terminal, editor, desktop, web and chat interfaces, with code editing, subagents, tool use and multiple model providers. It is a runnable development tool distinct from Qwen chat and the underlying models. CLI and desktop support macOS, Windows and Linux; web UI/daemon features are documented as experimental.
What can you use Qwen Code for?
- Plan code or data-development tasks
- Use agents to implement and validate changes
- Review generated code changes
Qwen Code pricing and usage limits
Open-source software; model and infrastructure costs are separate. Official docs say the Qwen OAuth free tier ended on April 15, 2026. Use a Coding Plan, metered API or self-hosted model instead.
This site never quotes prices. Confirm amounts on the official site.
